• Viscosity and specific gravity of the medium
• Temperature of the medium
• Are there particles inside the medium?
• Requested flow rate at requested head/ distances
• Size of drum or container and its head
• Operation hours per day and per day continuously
• Any other information about the application

For other pumps

• Exact description of the application
• Specification of the liquid
• Viscosity and medium temperature
• Density
• Required flow rate
• How is the pump installed?
• Does pump have to be self-priming or will medium flow by itself into pump?
• What does the pressure side look like? Please include distances, discharge heads, and pipe resistance losses.
• Solids content and type and size of solids
• The pump will be used as transportable or stationary vertical or horizontal
• Operating hours per day or per day without interruption
• Any other information about the application
